Ethernet Symposium Industry Experts from Rockwell, Hirschmann and Schneider Electric will discuss "Control on Ethernet-How Ethernet/IP Meets the Needs of the Automation IndustryÓ, Ò Is Ethernet Ready for the Plant Floor" and "Open Protocols for Open Control: A review of Major IP Protocols". Additional speakers include Eric Byres of the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Bob Squirrell from Profibus UK, Dr, Richard Piggin of ARC and Derek Lane of WAGO Ltd. Also featured are guest speakers from Siemens, NETdot3 and many more industry leaders. The symposium, which is sponsored by The Industrial Ethernet Book, will consist of eight sessions running throughout out the day and is free to attendees of the full conference program.
